Soybean Prices Drop Across All Contracts
Update: 2025-12-03
Description
Soybean prices on the Chicago Board of Trade saw a consistent downward trend across all contracts, with the January twenty twenty-six contract closing at eleven dollars and twenty cents per bushel, down four and three-quarters cents. The March and May contracts also experienced a dip, while the July and August contracts saw a decrease of five cents and five and a quarter cents, respectively. The far-out January twenty twenty-seven contract dropped four and a half cents. The estimated trading volume was eighty thousand and twenty-four contracts, significantly lower than yesterdays, with open interest also decreasing. These shifts in commodity prices can impact farmer incomes and food product costs.
