Soybeans Bounce Back, Futures Up
Update: 2025-12-31
Description
Soybean futures rebound today, trading up three to four cents after yesterdays sharp losses, with January front months seeing the biggest gains. Open interest dropped significantly on Monday, while cash bean prices fell eight cents to nine dollars eighty cents and three-quarters. Soymeal futures eased down, but soy oil climbed thanks to a crude oil price rebound. USDA announced a private export sale of one hundred thousand metric tons of soybeans to Egypt, but export inspections through December twenty-fifth totaled just seven hundred fifty thousand metric tons, down nineteen percent from the prior week and fifty-four percent below last year. Geopolitical tensions, including Chinese military drills around Taiwan, are also impacting the market. Checkout Solipillow.com
