Description
Soybeans surged across the board in November, with most contracts gaining between seven and nine cents, leading to a strong weekly gain of fifty-five cents. The national average cash price for soybeans increased by six cents to around ten dollars and thirty-three cents. Soybean meal futures also rose, with December's contract jumping twenty-seven dollars and fifty cents for the week. However, soy oil futures dropped, with December soy oil futures falling by one hundred fifty-nine points. China's recent soybean purchases supported market gains, while biodiesel production saw a decrease in soybean oil usage. November soybeans closed at nearly eleven dollars, up eight and a half cents, with January and March contracts also seeing gains.
