Description

In this episode, I speak with Nadav Weiman, Executive Director of Breaking the Silence, a group of former Israeli soldiers exposing the inner workings of military occupation. Nadav once served as a sniper in the West Bank — now he speaks out about what he saw, did, and was ordered to do.

We discuss his personal journey from soldier to whistleblower, how the events of October 7, 2023, have escalated violence in the West Bank, and what it means to hold onto moral clarity in a system built on denial.

Nadav also reflects on the backlash — from politicians, the army, and society — and the moral courage required to keep going. As international scrutiny grows and civil space shrinks, Breaking the Silence is doubling down: collecting testimonies, speaking abroad, and building pressure for accountability.

This episode is about the cost of complicity — and the power of truth, even when it’s inconvenient.
