In Fullmetal Alchemist chapters 1 and 2, we meet Edward and Alphonse Elric. Their attempt at human transmutation as children left them without their whole bodies. On a mission to find a way to restore their bodies, they pass through a town in the grips of a corrupt preacher, Father Cornello.
