Dan Holiday, a mystery novelist who advertises for adventure, receives a letter inviting him to inspect an old jalopy that supposedly can reach 100 miles per hour. Intrigued, Holiday arrives at the garage, only to find himself caught in a dangerous game involving stolen cars, high-speed chases, and a criminal syndicate using the vehicle as a cover for smuggling operations.

As Holiday investigates, he uncovers a plot where the car is being used to transport stolen goods across state lines. The criminals, realizing Holiday is onto them, attempt to silence him, leading to a thrilling chase where Holiday must outmaneuver them using the very car they claimed was unbeatable.

This episode is packed with suspense, deception, and fast-paced action, making it one of the more adrenaline-fueled stories in the Box 13 series.
