In this episode, a long time friend of Brendan’s, Spencer Mirken came on the podcast to discuss his trajectory; a shift from wanting to play college basketball to realizing he wanted to work behind the scenes in the basketball space. Spencer has cultivated a community of high level basketball and camaraderie with his Spencer Summer Runs, which started as a COVID experiment and has turned into the hub of New England’s best players getting together to play high level pickup basketball.

Spencer is going to be a junior at Keene State College, where he is the student assistant coach for the Owls. Spence has found his ambition and hopes to have a Pro-Am in the Boston Area in the coming years, along with becoming a head coach down the line. Special Stuff.
