Talking about saving with kids, is not the most appealing thing to do. Most of the time, they’re like, yeah sure… and then as soon as they get some money, they spend it.
During this Rally Point the kiddos surprised me. We were watching videos and singing songs. They were having a fun time. When they were asked what they would do with $100 dollars, I really expected them to talk about buying games, vbucks or something similar. Instead, the kids wanted to share the money with their family and friends. It was a total heartwarming moment to be a part of. Their favorite part though, was the singing piggy banks!
