In the wake of the Battle of New York between the Avengers and the Chitauri construction worker Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton) is set up for a big payday with the rebuilding of New York. When Damage Control, a new business venture for Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), comes and takes the work out from under him. Toomes vows to change his ways to take advantage of the new order of things. Eight years later, after returning from his own adventure with The Avengers Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is struggling to fit back into high school.
