Spokane Schools: New Bus Fleet & Adams Elementary Replacement
Update: 2025-12-05
Description
Spokane Public Schools is embarking on two significant projects: replacing the century-old Adams Elementary and creating an in-house bus fleet. The new bus fleet, funded by state money, will give the district more control and potentially save money. The district will continue using Zum buses until their contract ends in 2028. Adams Elementarys demolition will begin, and students will be temporarily housed at Jefferson Elementary before moving to the new Adams in about a year and a half. These changes are part of the districts long-term plan to modernize facilities and enhance services for Spokanes students.
