Yazmina is on a roll right now. The Moroccan English producer and DJ steps onto Yousef’s Circus Recordings with her Amnesia EP, a sharp two tracker built for dark rooms and late nights.

The title cut hits first. Amnesia nods to the Ibiza institution and pairs Yazmina’s deep jackin groove with Lucky Samurai’s spoken word. Big bass. Bright stabs. Space for the vocal to glide. It builds slow pressure then drops you right back into the floor.

Flangé Bongo flips the script. A cheeky vocal. Chopped up percussion. A tight rolling groove. It is Yazmina at her most playful, weaving classic house ideas with her own twist.

She has been building fast since 2022, drawing support from Jamie Jones, Amine Edge and Dance, Syreeta, Peggy Gou, Arielle Free, Jammer, Hilit Kolet, and Juliet Mendoza. Releases on Hottrax, Nervous, Glasgow Underground, Under No Illusion, and Circus have shown the direction she is moving in. Her focus stays on original work with vocalists. She wants a catalogue people will sample years from now.

Today she steps into our Spotlight Mix with a set that shows where she is heading. Deep cuts. Rolling house. A few curveballs. Plenty of groove. Two tracks from her Amnesia EP land inside and they sit comfortably next to the heavy hitters she has chosen.
