Description

Ancient sites such as Stonehenge fascinate people across the world, with many questions about how and why these structures were created.

One theory is that they were deliberately aligned to the celestial objects we see in our skies - the sun, the moon, and the stars.

In this episode of Spotlight, we speak to skyscape archaeologist Dr Fabio Silva about the role of the sky for ancient societies and what it can tell us, as well as discussing his new project at Stonehenge during a rare lunar standstill.
