Description

Hello and welcome to this episode of the Kids Party Hustle podcast, the final episode for the year.

I can't even believe we are here.

And thank you so much for following along and listening in over the past I want to say six months since I've restarted up this podcast.

It's been amazing and we have some really wonderful guests coming on, in 2023 and I can't wait to have you listening to these beautiful women speak

Rounding out 2022

But the point of this exercise as we round out 2022 (the year that felt like we were finally emerging from the madness of COVID) I just want to leave you with this.

I know a lot of you are really busy right now and work is hectic.

And I'm so happy for you as you lead into the end of this year,

You're hanging things up or throwing them in a ball in the corner and going to deal with everything when you reopen in 2023.

I want to encourage you to embrace next year as the year in which anything is possible.

I know there are some of you:

  • who have started up this year;

  • who started in lockdown.

  • who have had to sit through two years of lockdown.

And so I want to encourage you all to take a rest.

Right now we've been in a period of fight or flight for quite some time.

Take the rest that you so desperately need, and then I want you to sit for a minute and just journal either at the end of this year or at the very very start of 2023 and I want you to really plan next year with intention.

You now know that this industry is an absolutely legitimate industry.

And you know that your business has the capacity to bring you money, joy and to put your name on a business that is all yours

In an industry that previously wasn't really respected industry but now has awards and is respected and people love and understand this industry.

This is your business.

And I'm going to encourage you all to just take a minute to sit somewhere quietly.

And I'm not talking about a business plan.

I'm talking about journaling about what it is you want for your business in 2023.

I want you to start the year, as you mean to continue and I am talking about this now because the podcast won't start for a few weeks of 2023 and by that time, you will be really well and truly underway.

So I want to get in your ear now.

Open up a blank Word doc on your computer and sit somewhere quietly.

If you're someone who likes pen and paper, and just write.

I'm not talking about your five year plan.

I'm not talking about goals and goal setting.

I want you to write from the heart.

What do you want from your business in 2023?

Because if you're just going to keep going, if you're just going to not take any time to reflect it's going to be a bit of a mess.

But what I encourage my clients and my members in the Party Biz Society to do at the start of the year and certainly they have a prompted training is to really reflect on the year that was and what you are striving to achieve.

I hope that helps.

I want to thank you all so much for letting me into your world, letting into your ears, allowing me into your businesses over this year.

It has been just amazing.

And I know that some of you are on the waitlist for next year and I cannot wait to work with you.

And I can't wait to see what 2023 will bring for you all but in the meantime, be safe.

Have a really wonderful, calm holiday period.

I hope there is joy and love and happiness for you. I

hope everyone stays well and healthy and I really look forward to connecting with you all in 2023.

From my family to yours, have a very merry Christmas.

Bye
