The Pittsburgh Steelers defense is facing a significant challenge on fourth downs this season, allowing a league-worst 74.3% conversion rate. This is the highest total ever allowed by any team through this point in a season. Despite their recent winning streak, opponents have still converted 5 out of 6 fourth-down tries, including a controversial call against the Lions. The defenses struggles extend to third downs as well, ranking 25th league-wide. However, they excel in the red zone, allowing just 51.9% touchdowns on defense while scoring 62.2% on offense.
