The Pittsburgh Steelers have named Tim Smith, CEO and founder of Center of Life, as their 2025 Inspire Change Changemaker Award recipient. Smith, a lifelong Pittsburgh resident, was surprised by the honor, which recognizes his significant contributions to social justice in his community. Center of Life, established in 2001, offers academic support and arts programs to young people in Hazelwood and surrounding areas, aiming to empower individuals and revitalize communities. Smiths dedication to helping young people dates back to the 1980s, and he will receive a $10,000 donation for his charity and be honored during the Steelers Inspire Change game on December 15th.
