Our next guest is Amanda Brown. She is the Statewide Forensic Nurse Examiner Coordinator in SC, which you may more commonly know as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. An FNE or SANE is a registered nurse trained in treating victims, making that patient feel comfortable and safe, and collects forensic samples that will go into evidence for possible future prosecution.
