Still Standing (1 Peter 5:8-14)
Description
As Americans, we have a certain standard of life. The level of ease we have the privilege of experiencing is much different than others. Even though our lives may be 'cushy', we suffer in other ways. We experience the loss of a baby, a family member, a job. We deal with money or health issues. In this sermon, Pastor Christopher talks about the battles with Satan, and where suffering comes from. He breaks down the power and eternal glory God gives to those who suffer in his name. He talks about the actions we should take when tempted by the devil, and how we can be prepared amidst trials.
How can we redirect our attention? What can God do for you in suffering? Listen to learn more!
