Procrastination and perfectionism are killing dreams every single day. ‘I will start tomorrow.’, ‘I’m not an expert.’, ‘This isn’t the right time.’ are all excuses the mind is giving us to prevent us from getting out of our comfort zone, where our growth and happiness are. THERE WILL NEVER BE A BETTER TIME THAT NOW TO START. Why? Because unless you begin and start being comfortable with being a beginner in your field, you will never become an expert because ‘every master was once a disaster’ (T. Harv Eker) and everybody needs to start somewhere. Legends are not born legends, they become legends with the power of their intentions, their will never to give up despite failing again, again and again and their hard work. You are no different. Once you find the ladder you want to climb, you need to take the first step and the next and the next until you reach the top. But you need to be willing to take that first step. Sometimes the hardest one, the most uncomfortable one. Don’t wait for everything to be perfect to start because THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! Life is not about perfection, it is about making the best you can with the tools you have, right where you are.
