Update: 2026-01-05
Description
Stord, a leading e-commerce logistics company, has acquired Shipwire from Ceva Logistics, expanding its reach and capabilities. This move adds twelve fulfillment centers, AI technology, and access to Cevas global network, benefiting customers with smoother operations. The acquisition combines Shipwires AI-powered order management with Stords outsourced fulfillment and cheap parcel shipping, serving a wide range of e-commerce platforms and industries. Stord, founded in 2015, has shipped over 30 million packages to 11.5% of U.S. homes. This is their fifth acquisition, following Ware2Go from UPS, adding 2.5 million square feet of warehouse space. The e-commerce market has grown significantly, with sales reaching $304.2 billion in 2021, making up 16.3% of U.S. retail. Analysts believe the acquisition is strategic for Stord, positioning them for growth in a competitive market. Checkout Solipillow.com
