Katy Launius, Ph.D. has almost 15 years of experience working in higher education, where she has led a variety of institutional transformation initiatives designed to produce equitable student success. She brings this expertise to her current role as Strategy Officer for Student Success at Lumina Foundation.

Through her experience, she’s learned that scaling and sustaining change is complex and nuanced – it requires disrupting the status quo. To create the conditions necessary for change, Katy embraces her identity as a “Radical Relator” by building collaborative, transparent, and effective relationships wherever she works. Katy earned her Ph.D. in educational leadership and policy studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.
