For this week's examination we're taking a look at A Sun, the 2019 Taiwanese drama film directed and co-written by Chung Mong-hong and starring Chen Yi-wen, Samantha Ko, Wu Chien-ho, and Liu Kuan-ting, just to name a few. A Sun tells the story of a a family of four who struggle to deal with the ramifications after their teenaged son is arrested and imprisoned for a violent crime. This is a compelling drama about expectations, tragedy, and uncompromising pride. It runs 2 hours and 36 minutes.
