Sudan humanitarian truce plan stalls

Description
The United States adviser for African affairs has announced that the Sudanese army and paramilitary group, Rapid Support Forces, have failed to formally accept a proposed humanitarian truce.
Mediators from the US, UAE, Egypt and Saudi Arabia have been urging both sides to stop fighting, as famine spreads and millions remain displaced.Meanwhile, Amnesty International has released a report saying that atrocities committed by the RSF in North Darfur province constitute war crimes.
