Description

Two Summit County public schools are closed Monday, Sept. 23, due to a power outage, according to the Summit School District.

Snowy Peaks and Summit Middle School are closed due to a power outage that began after 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, and extended into the morning, the Summit School District said in a Facebook post.

The power outage impacted operations at the Snow Peaks and Summit Middle School “to a level that we cannot hold school today,” the Facebook post states. All other schools will operate according to their typical schedule.
