Description

Former drug policy advisor to UK's Labour gov. is in NZ to talk about how psychedelic drugs could help control a number of mental health problems & why the war on drugs is a failure. Prof David Nutt has carried out recent clinical trials using LSD & psilocybin to see how it affects the brain & why, in some cases, helps relieve anxiety & depression. He was sacked from his advisory job after suggesting decriminalisation of drugs to reduce harm & believes that alcohol is more dangerous than drugs.
