A last minute headed equaliser from man of the match in both legs, Big Dan Ballard helped the lads to a 3-2 aggregate win over Coventry which takes us to the playoff final on the 24th of May in which we'll play Sheffield Utd.
Lee Thirkell from the Bilbao Black Cats was joined by Dan Dimitrov from the Bulgarian Sunderland Supporters Association, Ian McNee from the German Black Cats and Paul Clark in Barcelona who made an express trip in 24 hours to see the lads get to the final in one of the most unforgettable atmospheres the Stadium of Light has ever seen.
