Covid has created refreshingly honest feedback from the OEMs. They haven’t always spoken with the same level of candour. The main risks ahead of us are in the supply chain, warns Airbus. The placement window has shrunk, so the logical consequence is that lead times will increase. And as a lessor, you certainly don’t want increasing lead times in the same period as decreasing placement windows.
