In this episode of WICKED, I sit down with my friend Jaxx, a survivor of an unthinkable DV situation. What began with arguments slowly escalated into terrifying levels of abuse, eventually involving gun violence. For two years, fear kept her from leaving, afraid of the ripples it might cause, unsure of how to break free.

The breaking point came in a moment no mother should ever face: a gun held to her head while she breastfed her baby. By some stroke of fate, Jaxx survived, and now she’s here to share her story.

Today, she is using her voice to help with prevention, awareness, and helping women find ways to leave before it’s too late. This conversation is raw, powerful, and a reminder that silence can be deadly-but speaking up can save a life.
