Since we parted ways as college roommates, DC-based rapper, producer, visual artist, and friend of the pod Darren Buck–AKA Fake Cousin–has released FOUR full-length albums, so you could say we have some catching up to do.
Back in March, following the release of his instrumental lockdown soundtrack We The Ones, he sat down to record an episode of The All Scene Eye about the influence of family collaborations and fashion luminaries on his growing discography–plus gentrification, Black identity, and mixing his own work against masters like Jay-Z and D’Angelo.
