Description

In two interviews, Tom finds out about CO2 air capture technology and also explores how we can protect the Polar Regions.

Climeworks is a Direct Air Capture Company based in Switzerland, extracting carbon dioxide from the air and converting it into commercial commodities. Tom finds out from Louisa Charles just how their technology works and what opportunities it presents.

The Polar Regions are warming at twice the rate of the rest of the planet. In his second interview Tom talks to Alex Sholtz at Ice911 Research and finds out what the polar regions mean for the planet and how science is trying to protect them.
