In Episode 21 of Secret Level, we talk about Disney Animation’s cult classic 1985 animated fantasy film The Black Cauldron! Disney really wanted to do something cool and different with this film and they wanted to take their animated films to a new level with it. But the production of the film was a complete disaster and because of all the crazy things going on behind-the-scenes, this movie almost killed Disney Animation. Seriously, just wait until you learn about what the creative team behind this movie had to go through and deal with. I’m surprised the movie was ever released! We loved this movie when we were kids, but that didn’t stop Disney from burying it for a time.
