The two gifts of the Spirit we have dealt with, they both revealed something. One reveals a portion of knowledge that God wants us to have at a particular time. It is called the gift of the word of knowledge.

The other reveals a portion of wisdom that God wants us to have and be guided by, at a particular point in time. This is the gift of the word of wisdom.

The gift of the discerning of spirits is also meant to reveal something to us.
