Description
Takimamuro Hikawa Shrine (滝馬室氷川神社) is located at 1151 Takimamuro, Konosu City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It is situated on a river terrace overlooking the Arakawa River. The shrine is accessible from Konosu Station (JR Takasaki Line), approximately 1.6km away, or via the Mamuro bus stop, about 550m from the shrine.
The shrine's main deity (祭神) is Susanoo-no-Mikoto (素盞嗚尊). It was formerly the village shrine (旧村社) and guardian deity (鎮守) of the old Takimamuro Village.
