Mysterious Mysteries! "The Tale of the Black FOX" & "EYEBALL ON HISTORY!"
In "The Tale of the Black FOX" a black woman, Angelica had to work hard to be a commentator at a conservative TV station, and her series of editorials - “I’ll Be Right Black” is doing well. Everything seems to be going fine… if only that tattered woman in the parking lot would stop trying to tell her a secret…
"EYEBALL ON HISTORY!" in the style of the “You Are There” series, we take the listener back to some of the key moments in revolutionary history that are normally overlooked. We begin with: “1966, and the Writing of the Ten Point Program of the Black Panther Party.”
Episode 1 was written & directed by Michael Gene Sullivan. Music by Daniel Savio. The band features woodwinds by Dylan Jennings, bass by Jewell McMillon, drums & percussion by David Rokeach, Oboe by Aya Rokeach and keyboards by Daniel Savio. Audio engineering & sound design by Taylor Gonzalez. Stage Management by Karen Runk.
"The Tale of the Black FOX" features Velina Brown as Angelica Phenex, Keiko Shimosato Carreiro as Eido Kawakami, with Andre Amarotico as TV Director, Jarion Monroe as Brad Asteroth, and Michael Gene Sullivan as Narrator.
"EYEBALL ON HISTORY!" features Amos Glick as Chip Banister, Michael J Asberry as Bobby Seale, and Michael Gene Sullivan as Huey P. Newton.
