Description

The 2020 virtual annual meeting of the National Association of Plant Breeders (NAPB) begins tomorrow! The NAPB 2020 Planning Committee has worked to find the best technology solutions to facilitate an engaging, meaningful, and valuable experience for attendees. As we do each year, we have caught up with each of the Borlaug Scholars (there are 18 this year!) to talk about their exciting research and the value the NAPB brings to the world of plant breeding.

The NAPB Borlaug Scholars program strengthens the plant breeding profession by helping support attendance of future leaders at the NAPB annual meeting. In this podcast episode, we talk with six of the scholars who work with corn — Hallie Longest, Abelina Jackson, Cassie Winn, Kathryn Michel, Jenna Hershberger and Christina Finegan.
