We're going to learn about offshore communications and the fiber network that Tampnet has developed to connect vessels and operators.  We have Trygve Hagevik and Arnt Skavdal on the line today from Tampnet.  While satellite communications offer wide coverage areas, they often come with great expense and limited bandwidth.  There can also be a high level of latency in satellite communications.  The cable network that Tampnet offers not only greatly reduces latency, but it increases wandwith tremendously.  Listen in and let me know what you think.  Thank you for listening in to the show!
