We untangle the tongue-twister that is “diphthong”, then look at how to pronounce reo Māori diphthongs properly. Paraone shares some classic kōrero tuku iho from the kuia of his youth, amongst other discussions around ‘panoni’, ‘kawemate’ and ‘harimate’, to name a few.
