On March 17, 2021, the IRS announced it would officially be extending the tax deadline from April 15 to May 17, giving taxpayers an additional month to file their taxes. Residents of Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana have until June 15 due to the winter storm disaster declared by FEMA.
