The Colorado Rockies began August in a somewhat promising manner I guess, taking two out of three from the San Francisco Giants and helping send them into a much-deserved tailspin. But that's about the only good thing that happened since the last time you heard from us.
The Rockies proceeded to allow 11, 14, and nine runs--all on the road, so don't you dare COORS me--in lopsided losses to the Houston Astros and San Diego Padres, and fans of both teams had a lot of fun GIF tweeting through it.
Miserable. Absolutely miserable.
