Description
Talking may come easy but actually saying anything of substance may be more difficult than one thinks.
Words have power.
Often times the perception of that statement has a negative connotation.
That type of association can lead to staying silent.
As I type this out I have been listening again to @AuntieSocial Episode 20: Male Survivors on Stereo-Typed (on TPOK Radio).
I encourage all to have a good listen.
April is Male Survivor of Sexual Abuse Awareness Month.
Regardless of gender or identity, surviving is more than just word, it's not a game with a safety net, it's an every day journey.
To some, it's a matter of simply calling it life, for others it is much more complex and uniquely individual.
