We don’t want to be 20 again. And we don’t think many of our friends do, either! Instead, we want to apply all that hard-earned wisdom to where we are now – contemplating or enjoying our 40s. Some women start thinking about 40 the day after their 35th birthday. For others it sneaks up, lost among work and family and the chaos of life, until….OMG! Here we are.

Dr Wright is a double boarded orthopedic surgeon, author, speaker and innovator focused on optimizing personal and professional performance at every age from the backyard to the ballfield to the boardroom via building physical and mental hardiness and resilience across the lifespan. She cares for athletes and active people of all ages and skill levels from youth to professional and currently serves as the inaugural Chief of Sports Medicine at the Northside Health System in Atlanta and previously served as the inaugural Medical Director of the 185,000 sqft UMPC Lemieux Sports Complex in Pittsburgh PA, home of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Dr Wright earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, served her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery, including a dedicated research year, at the University of Pittsburgh and completed her training at the Hospital for Special Surgery with a fellowship in Sports and Shoulder surgery.
Dr Wright has written 4 books on topics surrounding active aging and precision longevity, serves as a frequent media expert, created the non-profit, “Womens Health Conversations” which ignited a national conversation on women’s health, is the host of the HOT for your Health Podcast and performed award winning research that is reshaping the way we think of aging in this country.
