The 83 Day Death of Hisashi Ouchi Part 1
Description
On September 30th, 1999 a 35 year old man named Hisashi Ouchi was working at the JCO Tokaimura Plant in Tokaimura, Japan. On this day, he’d been asked to forgo his normal daily responsibilities and assist with a project being conducted at a nearby experimental nuclear reactor. Shortly after work began a coworker screamed, “Run for your lives!”. Ouchi darted from the room and found himself inside a changing area. There, he began vomiting and soon lost consciousness. Over the following months, almost everyone who came into contact with Ouchi would, in their own time, come to wish that he’d never awoken from his collapse. But he did wake up. This was the first of 83 days that would eventually prove themselves to be among the most painful that a human being has ever endured.

I am loving this podcast! I don't know why but I love dark, deranged, gross stuff and this really hits the spot. I found this podcast looking for more info on the women stuck to their toilets because it's something I still can't wrap my mind around. from that episode on I've been hooked. I wasn't able to finish the mr. hands podcast and I saw the "video" back when the news broke in mainstream (I didn't have the volume up, so thanks for that experience I guess lol). this is not for the faint of heart and I wish there were more shows like this with such awesome, awesome hosts. you guys really do the research, even reaching out to people involved in some way for interviews, every minute of this pod is entertaining. I love having a place I feel like I can indulge in stories of the stuff the grosses out my husband too much to talk about with him. thanks for being so fabulous and I hope there are many more shows to come. this totally beats behind the bastards out of first for favorite pods f
