The startling arrival of Dr. Thorneycroft Huxtable has shaken Holmes and Watson into rapt attention. Their new client is the principal of a preparatory school, and has arrived at Baker Street desperately in need of Holmes's help to find the missing son of the Duke of Holdernesse. The German master, Herr Heidegger, has also disappeared.
