As pubs reopen this week, reporter Harry Taylor takes a look at three boozers that have miraculously been brought back from the brink after years of closure and in one instance demolition.

The Albert in Primrose Hill, and Carlton Tavern  n Maida Vale which both welcomed punters on Monday and the Magdala Tavern in Hampstead, set to open next month

He talks to the campaigners that never gave up the fight and the brave landlords determined to keep the doors open for the years to come.
