The Avalanche's 17 game point streak comes to an end on the road with a 6-3 loss to the New York Islanders, the first time all season the Avs have lost a game by more than one goal. In 27 games. Can this just be a one off performance while the team deals with some sickness, or has the seal been broken on this historic run? Will the powerplay ever be better?
