In this week's episode of The Beatles:Now & Then I bring you some songs from John Lennon's Double Fantasy Sessions from 1980.
Some of the songs in todays episode have been edited (by myself) to progress from the demos through to a more familiar sounding mix that is yet different from the released versions. (My edits are not even close to what Geoff Emerick could do, but I'm on a $0 budget.)
Also included is an outtake of an unreleased cover of John performing 'Dream Lover/Stay' medley live in the studio and a working version of John & Yoko's Happy X-Mas (War Is Over) without the Harlem Children's Choir and an alternate take of (Imagine).
