was in honor of the 55th anniversary of Mary Poppins. This now being the 60th
anniversary, we felt it was timely to
present, yet again, our tribute to Walt Disney's live-action musical masterpiece.
September 2019 - In part one of a very special two part episode of Jiminy Crickets, Chris
and Ruthie bring you the backstage story of the definitive Walt Disney
musical fantasy, "Mary Poppins." Together they discuss the origins of
the Mary Poppins lore and provide background on its author P.L. Travers.
They then discuss how it was adapted from page to screen by Walt Disney
and his creative team, and spotlight all of the major actors who
appeared in this 1964 film classic. So spit spot, and off we go on a
magical journey that is simply Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
