In this episode of Mysteries of UFOs, we investigate the Cash-Landrum Incident, a chilling UFO encounter from December 29, 1980, near Dayton, Texas. Betty Cash, Vickie Landrum, and Vickie’s grandson Colby encountered a diamond-shaped craft emitting intense heat and flames, followed by a formation of military helicopters. After the event, all three suffered from severe health issues resembling radiation sickness.
Despite filing a lawsuit against the U.S. government, their case was dismissed due to lack of evidence. The government denied involvement, and the craft’s origin remains unknown. The incident stands as one of the few UFO cases with long-term physical consequences, and it remains unsolved to this day.
