Erin sat down with Ryan Pallas, author of, “How to Boil a Frog: The Dangers of Downsizing in the U.S. Military,” which was published on August 26. Ryan is an active-duty Marine Corps officer who has completed tours at Miramar, CA; Yuma, AZ; Kaneohe Bay, HI; and Quantico, VA. He currently serves as a Commandant of the Marine Corps strategist fellow in the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University in Arlington, VA, where he is studying the all-volunteer force.
