Pop culture was supposed to be the "common culture" of our age. But as Disney, Marvel, and other cultural giants fail spectacularly—remaking classics into flops and replacing tradition with ideology—we're witnessing the bankruptcy of pop culture itself. In this video, I argue that pop culture isn't really culture at all: it's anti-culture. It divides instead of unites, isolates instead of bonds, and replaces authentic tradition with shallow consumerism.
