The Debt Game: How Continuing Resolutions and Debt Ceiling Increases Feed China’s Economic Strategy

America’s debt crisis isn’t just a domestic issue—it’s a geopolitical vulnerability. With each continuing resolution and debt ceiling increase, we’re playing right into the hands of our greatest adversary: China. In this episode of The Andy Parrish Show, I break down how our fiscal irresponsibility is strengthening the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) long-term strategy while weakening America’s economic standing and national security.

The Debt Spiral

The federal government’s reliance on continuing resolutions to keep itself running is a glaring symptom of its inability to live within its means. Instead of addressing our spending problem, Congress continues to kick the can down the road, relying on debt ceiling increases to sustain an unsustainable trajectory.

Meanwhile, China is watching—and waiting. The CCP knows that a financially unstable America is a weaker America. As our national debt climbs, so does our reliance on foreign creditors, including China. This isn’t just bad economics; it’s a direct threat to our sovereignty.

China’s Economic Chess Game

China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a calculated move to expand its global influence, often by indebting other nations. The irony? We’re doing to ourselves what China is doing to the developing world. By mortgaging our future, we’re allowing the CCP to gain leverage over us.

Every dollar we borrow to finance our ballooning deficits is another dollar China can use to fund its military, expand its technological dominance, and tighten its grip on the global economy. This isn’t just a numbers game; it’s a strategy of economic warfare.

The Way Forward

Reversing this trend starts with fiscal discipline. We must demand that our leaders prioritize cutting unnecessary spending, balancing budgets, and reducing our reliance on debt. It’s not just about financial responsibility—it’s about preserving our position as a global leader and protecting our national security.

America can’t afford to play this game any longer. The stakes are too high, and the consequences of losing are too severe. It’s time for a new strategy—one that prioritizes accountability, independence, and the long-term prosperity of our nation.

It’s time we, the people, take our government back. Follow me on X, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. I’m Andy Parrish, I’m right – Deal with it!
